My pilgrim son did not complete the sa'y

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 21902 )
Q: My wife, my children, and I went to Makkah al-Mukarramah to perform 'Umrah. One of my sons, who was nine years old, was in a state of ihram for 'Umrah. After finishing the tawaf, my wife and one of my sons in the Haram were lost due to the heavy crowd, and only my son in ihram and a baby remained with me. Given the difficult situation I was in, I took my children to my father, who lives in Makkah al-Mukarramah , and returned to the Haram to search for my wife and my son
and to complete the rituals of 'Umrah. However, my son in ihram did not complete the sa'y, and he changed his ihram clothes and wore sewn garments . During the 'Id celebration, I shaved his head, and he came into contact with perfume and cut his nails. As for my wife, she wore the niqab before the sa'y, but did not wear it during the sa'y, and she also came into contact with perfume out of forgetfulness . I ask your Eminence to clarify what is required of my son, who is nine years old, and of my wife?

A: First: Your son who did not complete the 'Umrah must renew his ihram and complete his 'Umrah by performing the sa'y and shaving or shortening his hair. He owes a fidyah for wearing sewn garments, a fidyah for shaving his head, and a fidyah for using perfume. For each fidyah, he has the choice between slaughtering a sheep in Makkah and distributing it to the poor of the Haram, or feeding six poor people from the poor of the Haram, giving each poor person half a sa' of food, or fasting for three days for each prohibited act he committed intentionally and with knowledge of its ruling. If he did not do it intentionally or did not know its ruling, he owes nothing. Second: Your wife also owes the aforementioned fidyah for wearing the niqab and using perfume intentionally and with knowledge of its ruling. If she did not do it intentionally or did not know the ruling, she owes nothing.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
