The ruling on one who traveled and did not complete his sa'y
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: The sister S. M. from Hawtat Sadir in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia says in her question: I performed Hajj last year, and during the sa'y, when three rounds remained, one of my companions fell ill. So I took her to the lodging, and then I traveled to the city where I work. What is required of me, O Shaykh?
Answer: It is obligatory for you to return to Makkah and perform the sa'y of seven rounds between al-Safa and al-Marwah with the intention of the previous Hajj. You must also sacrifice an animal in Makkah for the poor if you have a husband who has had intercourse with you. If you do not have a husband, or if you have one but no intercourse has taken place, then you do not owe a sacrifice. You must also perform the farewell tawaf when leaving Makkah, along with repentance to Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) for what occurred on your part. May Allah forgive us, you, and every Muslim.
