Knowing that they work, but their salaries do not cover their expenses and the expenses of those they support. And is there a sin if there is someone poorer than them from the general public, but he is not given from the aforementioned zakah of wealth; because it is given to the brothers and sisters? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good.
A : It is permissible to give the zakah to brothers and sisters if they are as described, but they should be given only the amount that suffices them, so that others who are poorer than them are not deprived. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
