A1: Zakat is obligatory on pistachios if their harvest reaches the nisab or more; due to the generality of the statement of Allah the Exalted:[Al-Baqarah 2:267] The amount of the obligatory zakat is half the tenth if they are irrigated at a cost, and the full tenth if they are not irrigated at a cost, like other grains. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
