The nisab of zakah in US dollar value

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 18148 )
Q1: 1- What is the nisab of zakah in US dollar value? In the book (Fiqh al-Sunnah), it is stated that the nisab of gold is twenty dinars, and we do not know the value of one dinar in Nigeria , but if we know this amount in US dollars, we can determine it in Nigerian Naira. 2- If a man does not possess the nisab for his entire life, for example, and has never paid zakah, what is his ruling on the Day of Resurrection regarding this? 3- If a man possesses the nisab but spends it, or all of it, before the lunar year (hawl) has passed, and this is the case every year until a lunar year never passes over his nisab – and Allah knows best – does he not pay zakah? 4- If a man has no hope that he will ever possess the nisab, except if Allah wills, but whenever he possesses any amount of wealth, even if it is small and does not reach five Saudi Riyals or five US dollars, he gives out one-tenth of it with the intention of zakah, is there any blame in that?
5- The eight categories of zakah recipients, and if one of them takes what this person gives him and takes what that person gives him, until he collects from these zakah payments an amount that reaches the nisab, does he have to pay zakah on that before he spends it, or when a lunar year has passed over it?

Volume 1: The nisab for gold is twenty mithqals, or twenty Islamic dinars; the nisab for silver is one hundred and forty mithqals, or two hundred Islamic dirhams, or the equivalent in paper currency, such as US dollars, Saudi riyals, and other currencies. One who does not possess the nisab for his entire life is not required to pay zakah. If he possesses the nisab but spends it before the completion of the hawl, he owes nothing. If a poor person accumulates from zakah payments an amount that reaches the nisab and a hawl passes over it, then zakah becomes obligatory on it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
