A: Zakah is obligatory on the nisab and on what exceeds it, whether in gold or silver, or in paper currency or trade goods that serve as their equivalent,
as well as grains and fruits. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
