Giving from the inferior sheep in zakah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of fatwa number ( 18514 )
Q1: I have (34) sheep + (12) suckling lambs, and I have (22) goats + (18) small suckling kids, and non-suckling ones , and I paid a female goat as zakah for the nisab, the nisab being (350) for goats, and four hundred for sheep, and after they took the goats for zakah, the workers' owners informed me that goats are not permissible in place of sheep, knowing that the sheep at the time the workers passed by were more than the goats, as is clear to you above, I ask for clarification of the correct ruling – do I pay the full nisab of sheep or do I pay a part of it?
A1: It is obligatory for you to pay one sheep or one goat from the middle of the sheep in terms of value, and it is not permissible for it to be from the worst of the sheep, and it is not obligatory for you to give from the best of them, and if you give from the best, that is better.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
