Shortening the Night Prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q3: What is the ruling on shortening the recitation in the Tahajjud prayer, such as reciting Surat al-Nas and other short surahs? May Allah reward you with the best reward for me and for the Muslims?
A3: It is permissible for one who prays the Tahajjud prayer or other voluntary prayers to recite after Surat al-Fatihah whatever is easy for him of the surahs, even a short surah. However, the longer the recitation in voluntary prayers, other than the voluntary Fajr prayer, the better it is and the greater the reward.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
