Q5: A woman performed 'Umrah, so she circumambulated the Ka'bah and walked between al-Safa and al-Marwah, but she did not shorten her hair because she forgot. Then she returned to her house, took a bath, and applied perfume. About two weeks later, she remembered that she had not shortened her hair, so she did. What is the ruling?
A5 : What this woman did is valid, and she is excused due to forgetfulness regarding all the prohibitions of ihram that occurred before she shortened her hair, unless she had sexual intercourse before shortening her hair. In that case, she must slaughter a sheep in Makkah and distribute it to the poor of the sacred precinct.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
