Q4: What is the ruling for one who forgets the first tashahhud and then remembers or is reminded :
A - and his hands have not been raised from the ground. B - after reciting al-Fatihah?
A4 : If he remembers before he has fully stood up, it is obligatory for him to return and perform the tashahhud. If he remembers after he has fully stood up but before beginning to recite al-Fatihah, returning is disliked. If he remembers after beginning to recite al-Fatihah, it is forbidden for him to return. In all these cases, it is obligatory for him to perform sujud al-sahw. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
