Q3: I woke up from sleep and found traces of semen on my clothes. What should I do? Should I take a bath to remove major ritual impurity and wash my clothes as well, or should I wait until my clothes dry and rub them?
A3 : It is obligatory for you to take a bath from major ritual impurity. It is recommended for you—as indicated by the authentic Sunnah—to wash the semen that has affected your clothes. If you rub it after it has dried, that is sufficient, but washing is better and cleaner. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
