The presence of a female preacher at the deceased's family during the days of condolence, preaching to the women

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: It has become widespread among women recently for a female preacher to be present at the deceased's family during the days of condolence, preaching to the women and reminding them of the Hereafter, what the deceased faces after death, and similar matters that soften the hearts. I have been asked to do this when I offer condolences to the bereaved, but I refuse, following the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), as it is not reported to my knowledge that he preached to people at the burial of the deceased
except when the grave was found not yet dug, and I also refuse out of fear of introducing religious innovation. I hope you will clarify the truth in this matter.

A: Preaching to people and reminding them of Allah the Exalted at appropriate times is a good use of the means of calling to Allah the Exalted. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would occasionally admonish his Companions when there was a need, and he preached at the time of death and at the burial. Whenever evil becomes apparent or heedlessness intensifies, people need to engage in admonition and forbidding evil. However, it is not permissible to associate this with a specific time or to commit to doing it at every condolence, so that the ignorant do not assume it is a regular practice and blame others for leaving it out.
