Q2: For a long time, I have been praying all the obligatory prayers while sitting. Is that valid? Please give us a ruling, may Allah reward you with good, regarding fasting or feeding, and regarding praying while sitting. May Allah bless you.
J2: Standing when able in the prayer is a pillar of it; the prayer is not valid without it. If you are unable to stand, it is permissible for you to sit; based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) to 'Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him):

offer prayer in standing condition; if you are unable to do so, then in sitting condition: if you are then at your side

صل قائمًا فإن لم تستطع فقاعدًا فإن لم تستطع فعلى جنب

It was narrated by al-Bukhari and others, and it was narrated by al-Nasa'i with a sound chain, and he added in it:

If you cannot do so, then lying on your side

فإن لم تستطع فمستلقيًا

, but if you are able to stand at times, it is obligatory for you to do so; based on the saying of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He):

So fear Allah as much as you are able

فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ

[At-Taghabun 64:16]

, and based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):

And if I order you to do something, then do of it as much as you can.

إذا أمرتكم بأمر فأتوا منه ما استطعتم
