Q 4: If I am late for the 'Asr prayer and I want to pray it at home, but before its time has passed, do I have to perform the adhan or not?
A 4: If you miss a prayer, you pray it in the mosque or at home. If it is possible for you to pray it in congregation, it is obligatory for you to do so, and you perform the iqamah for it, but you do not need the adhan if you are in the town, because the adhan of the mu'adhdhins is sufficient. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
