The Prayer upon the Messenger (in various forms after the Adhan)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 16802 )
Q 3: What is the religious opinion regarding sending prayers and blessings upon the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in various forms after the Adhan, which is done aloud? We ask your Eminence to shed light on this matter?
A 3: It is prescribed to follow the mu'adhdhin during the Adhan by saying what he says, except when he says "Hayya 'ala al-salah, Hayya 'ala al-falah," in which case the listener says: (La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah). When the mu'adhdhin finishes the Adhan, the listener and the mu'adhdhin send prayers upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and each of them says:
O Allah, the Lord of this complete call and of this prayer, which is going to be established! Give Muhammad Al-Wasila and Al-Fadila and raise him to Al-Maqam-al-Mahmud which You have promised himاللهم رب هذه الدعوة التامة والصلاة القائمة آت محمدًا الوسيلة والفضيلة وابعثه مقامًا محمودًا الذي وعدته
Sahih al-Bukhari 4719
This is to be done individually, not in a collective voice, and it is not permissible for the mu'adhdhin to recite it aloud after the Adhan, lest
it be thought to be part of the Adhan. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
