Q3: There is a Muslim woman who goes to learn the Qur'an in the neighboring village, and one day on her way there, her period (menstruation) came on her unexpectedly while she was holding the Qur'an . What should she do, or what was she required to do in such a situation?
A3 : It is not permissible for one who is in a state of minor or major ritual impurity to touch the Qur'an without a barrier, and this woman is in a state of major ritual impurity, which is menstruation. She is able to carry the Qur'an with a barrier. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
