It seems to her that water is splashing from the toilet bowl while she is performing wudu'

The second question of Fatwa No. ( 20809 )
Q 2: We have a girl who is committed, religious, and careful about the matters of her religion, as we observe her, if Allah wills. Her problem, O honorable Shaykh, is that when she goes to the restroom to perform istinja' or wudu', she says she feels that water from the floor of the bathroom may have splashed on her, and she says it is inconceivable that it would be pure, even though she washed the bathroom floor before using it. She repeats the istinja' or wudu' several times, and at times her condition reaches the point where she cries out of fear that she has not purified herself as required. Some people have observed her while she was performing wudu' and told her that her wudu' is valid, but she responds by saying, "Who can guarantee that impure water did not splash on her?" Her problem has persisted to the extent that this condition has led to a weakness in her physical constitution. It is known that the same condition occurs for her during prayer, where she doubts whether she completed it or any other matter that affects the validity of her prayer. We ask for guidance on what you see regarding this problem.
A 1: What is happening to this woman is from the category of waswas (whispers of doubt), and what is obligatory for her is: not to pay attention to it, and to seek refuge in Allah from Shaytan, and it will not harm her if
Allah wills. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
