Mockery of the Religion

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q5: Allah the Exalted said:
(65) And if you ask them, they will surely say, "We were only conversing and playing." Say, "Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?" (66) Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief. If We pardon one faction of you - We will punish another faction because they were criminals.
[At-Tawbah 9:65-66]
, do these verses indicate that Allah will not forgive the one who mocks?

Volume 5: Whoever mocks the religion, or a Muslim man, or a Muslim woman, for the sake of
their adherence to the rulings of the Islamic Shari'ah is a disbeliever; for what was narrated by 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both):
Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."
So their mocking of the believers became mocking of Allah, His verses, and His Messenger. Thus, mocking the religion of Allah is disbelief that expels one from the religion. However, there is room for repentance from it, by the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."
[Az-Zumar 39:53]
So when a person repents and is sincere in his repentance from his sin, even if it was shirk (associating partners with Allah), and he regrets what has passed of his sin, and follows it with righteous deeds, Allah turns to him in mercy and forgives his sin. Indeed, He replaces his evil deeds with good ones. Allah the Exalted says regarding the description of His righteous servants:
(68) And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty. (69) Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated - (70) Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful. (71) And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance.
[Al-Furqan 25:68-71]
