The Mosque Built Near the Graves of the Polytheists

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 21587 )
Q 1: Whatis the ruling on praying in a mosque built near the graves of polytheists, with a wall between it and the graves, the graves being to the east of the mosque, and the owners of the graves refusing to exhume them, and the mosque having already been built and roofed?
A 1: If the graves are completely separated from the mosque, such that there is a street or open space between them, then there is no harm in praying, whether the graves belong to Muslims or disbelievers. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
