Is this verse ((But they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision)) specific to the martyrs?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student: ...?

The Shaykh : It is specific to the martyrs and to those who are better than them; this is the apparent view. It is possible that this is specific to the martyrs because the martyrs exposed themselves to death seeking the Face of Allah. Some scholars of knowledge say that if this is established for the martyrs in the barzakh (the interval between death and resurrection) life, then it is established for those who are better than them, such as the truthful ones and the prophets. However, there is a possibility that this is specific to the martyrs, because the martyr is not like others; the martyr offered his life to death and sold himself, so he is rewarded by being alive. But the well-known view is that those who are higher than the martyrs have that ruling. The prophets also have a unique characteristic that others do not have, which is that the earth does not consume their bodies.
