Q6: What is the ruling in Islam regarding reciting certain surahs of the Noble Qur'an daily after the 'Asr adhan , before the iqamah, for all the praying people?
A6: Designating the recitation of specific surahs from the Qur'an after the 'Asr adhan or any other adhan, aloud for all the praying people, is a religious innovation (bid'ah) with no basis in the religion
Every innovation is misguidance.كل بدعة ضلالة
. The Muslim should recite whatever of the Qur'an is easy for him between the adhan and the iqamah for himself, or perform a voluntary prayer, or engage in the remembrance of Allah through tasbih, tahlil, tahmid, takbir, and seeking forgiveness. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
