Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 14293 )
Q 2: I vowed to Allah that I would fast ten days, but after a few days I changed my mind and extended the period to a month, which period am I obligated to fast, the first one or the second?
A 2 : The vow of fasting was established by your binding yourself to it, so you are only obligated to what you bound yourself to by the vow, which is fasting the ten days only. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
