Q1: My brother in Allah entrusted me with purchasing two copies of the Noble Qur'an and delivering them to al-Masjid al-Haram , knowing that he has vowed to endow two copies of the Noble Qur'an to al-Masjid al-Haram , please kindly inform us of how to perform this obligatory duty?
A1: It is obligatory to execute the aforementioned vow by purchasing the two mushafs and placing them in al-Masjid al-Haram ; because this is a vow of obedience, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih al-Bukhari 6696 . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
