When the Ruqyah practitioner places his hand on the one being treated

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 18268 )
Q: In the case of Ruqyah, is it permissible for the Ruqyah practitioner to place his hand on the patient
and then turn on the recorder, seeking help from Allah and then only from the voice of the reciter?
There are four tapes in the markets for treatment with the Qur'an, repelling the evil eye, and the like?

A : The original principle is that the Ruqyah practitioner is the one who directly recites the Qur'an and blows on the patient with his saliva. In (Sahih) it is narrated from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him):
That a group of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came upon a tribe of the Arabs, but they did not give them hospitality. While they were in that state, the chief of those people was bitten by a scorpion. They said: Do you have any medicine or a Ruqyah practitioner among you? They said: You did not give us hospitality, and we will not do so until you make a reward for us. So they made a flock of sheep for them. He began to recite with the Mother of the Qur'an, gathering his saliva and spitting, so he was cured. They brought the sheep, and they said: We will not take it until we ask the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). So they asked him, and he laughed and said: What makes you think that it is Ruqyah? Take it and make a share for me.
. And in (Sahih) also, from the hadith of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her):
Whenever Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) became sick, he would recite Mu'awwidhat (Surat Al-Falaq and Surat An- Nas) and then blow his breath over his body. When he became seriously ill, I used to recite (these two Suras) and rub his hands over his body hoping for its blessings.
Sahih al-Bukhari 5016
. And because of the meanings that exist in the Ruqyah practitioner when he recites it himself, which must be taken into consideration. Therefore, Ruqyah by turning on a recording device is contrary to the original Islamic principle, so Ruqyah by means of a recording device is an innovation that is not permissible in the Shari'ah.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
