The Ruling on Cheeses, Some of Which May Be Made from Cattle Not Slaughtered According to the Islamic Method

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fifth and sixth questions from Fatwa No. ( 18457 )
Q 5: Rennet is used in the production of cheese. Is this cheese considered lawful ; because this rennet is used from cattle or calves that were not
slaughtered according to the Islamic method?

A 5:
Q 6: There are cattle and sheep meats sold in Swedish stores that were not slaughtered according to the Islamic method . Is it permissible to buy them and wash them with water to purify them?
A 6: Everything that has not been slaughtered according to the Islamic method is impure; it is not permissible to eat it, and washing it afterwards does not benefit it. Therefore, all those meats are forbidden for you, even if you wash them. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
