Oath not to see Makkah and al-Madinah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 13597 )
Q1: A man swore an oath and said: “Makkah and al-Madinah are forbidden to me, seeing their faces—meaning a second time—then he returned to seeing them and interacting with them, and he is 30 years old.”
A1: If he swore to make Makkah and al-Madinah forbidden, and then he broke his oath, he is obligated to pay the expiation for an oath, which is feeding ten poor people, or clothing them, or freeing a believing slave. If he cannot find the means to do so, he must fast for three days. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
