Excessive Oaths by the Fasting Person

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 18641 )
Q4: If one swears many oaths in the morning or during the time of his fast, does this break his fast?
A4: Excessive swearing indicates weakness in faith, and part of the exaltation of Allah the Exalted is that the believer does not swear excessively. Allah the Exalted said:
And do not make [your oath by] Allah an excuseوَلاَ تَجْعَلُوا اللَّهَ عُرْضَةً لأَيْمَانِكُمْ
[Al-Baqarah 2:224]
, and He said:
And keep your oathsوَاحْفَظُوا أَيْمَانَكُمْ
. If one swears by Allah, he should swear truthfully. As for fasting, excessive swearing does not invalidate it
but it may diminish its reward. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
