Q6: Whatis the ruling on a man wearing a silver belt, or hanging or possessing a silver medal, or a woman wearing a silver chain? ؟
A6: Silver is forbidden for men to wear, except for what is supported by evidence, such as a ring or the like. It is permissible for women to wear it for the sake of adornment and beautification, due to their need for it, and evidence has been transmitted regarding this. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
