Wearing gold or eating from silver vessels

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa number ( 9087 )
Q 4: Is wearing gold or eating from silver vessels forbidden as a prohibition of prevention or a prohibition of the Shari'ah? Meaning: that Allah punishes for it just as He punishes for leaving the prayer.
A 4: It is forbidden for men to wear gold and for any accountable person, male or female, to eat from silver vessels. Whoever falls into this must repent, seek forgiveness, and rid themselves of this evil. If they do so, praise be to Allah; otherwise, they deserve punishment, just as the perpetrator of any evil who does not repent deserves punishment, even if the degree of punishment differs. This is based on the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Whoever does a wrong will be recompensed for itمَنْ يَعْمَلْ سُوءًا يُجْزَ بِهِ
[An-Nisa 4:123]
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
