Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 6591 )
Q2: A man vowed that if a child were born to him and it was a boy, he would name him Abdullah, but when Allah granted him a son, he named him Abdulaziz . What is required of him in this matter?
A 2: If the situation is as described, an oath expiation is obligatory upon him, which is feeding ten poor people, or clothing them, or freeing a believing slave. If he is unable to do that, he must fast for three days. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
