A vow that he would pray two rak'ahs to Allah every time he memorized a hadith, but he found it difficult to carry out

Fatwa number ( 8813 )
Q: O noble Shaykh: When I was seventeen years old, Allah the Exalted and Glorious granted me guidance. When I felt the sweetness of faith and the delight of commitment to Allah the Exalted and Glorious, I was one day in the mosque, and after completing the Fajr prayer, I sat in my place until the light of morning appeared, and I was lost in thought, feeling a sense of
spirituality and a kind of clarity in the soul, and I made a vow to Allah that every time I memorized a hadith from the hadiths of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), I would pray two rak'ahs, and after that I tried to implement it, and I found it heavy for me, so I regretted my action to the extent that whenever I wanted to memorize a hadith or even just read it and remembered the vow, I turned away and avoided it so that I would not memorize it, and I wept over my action. My request from Allah, then from you, O Shaykh, is to try to find for me a dispensation in this pure religion that exempts me from doing it, for it is a religion of ease and facilitation.

A: If the situation is as described regarding the vow, it is obligatory for you to fulfill it if its condition is met; because it is a vow of obedience, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him, and whoever vows to disobey Allah, let him not disobey Him.من نذر أن يطيع الله فليطعه، ومن نذر أن يعصي الله فلا يعصه
Sunan Ibn Majah 2126Sahih (Darussalam)
narrated by the Imam al-Bukhari in (his Sahih), and you have a great reward in fulfilling it. Allah the Exalted said in praising those who fulfill their vows:
They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread.يُوفُونَ بِالنَّذْرِ وَيَخَافُونَ يَوْمًا كَانَ شَرُّهُ مُسْتَطِيرًا
[Al-Insan 76:7]
, and it is not permissible for that to deter you from attempting to memorize the Prophetic hadiths. As for reading, it did not enter into the vow as mentioned in your question.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
