The fifth question of the fatwa number ( 12228 )
Q5: I have my noble parents who often ask me for things from which they do not benefit, but rather everything returns with benefit to me, such as: asking me to eat from certain foods, or not going to a specific place, so I do not obey them in some of it; because I know that it does not benefit them in anything, and this matter happens several times a week. Is there anything upon me in this?
A5: It is prescribed to make an excuse for fulfilling their request in a good manner. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
