Can doctors determine this, and what is the ruling of the Shari'ah in your view regarding this chart and its like? May Allah reward you for Islam and the Muslims with the best reward.
A: Knowing the sex of the child, whether it is male or female, before its creation is known to none but Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He). As for after its creation, it is possible through medical imaging, which Allah has enabled creation to do. As for determining its sex based on the chart mentioned, it is a lie and invalid; because it is a claim of knowledge of the unseen, which is known to none but Allah. It is obligatory to destroy this chart and not circulate it among people. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
