The fifth question of Fatwa No. ( 20384 )
Q 5: Some people, when they fall or stumble, take ordinary water or water that has been recited over, and sprinkle it on the place where they fell. What is the ruling on this, with evidence?
A 5: This is not permissible. What is prescribed for one who falls is to say: "In the name of Allah," and that will not harm him, by the permission of Allah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
