Guaranteeing a worker without employing him

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 16316 )
Q 2: A Muslim tailor asked one of the brothers to guarantee him, on the condition that he give him a sum of money each month without any burden on the guarantor other than taking the fixed amount in exchange for the guarantee, and the tailor bears all the responsibility of the tailor’s place and work. Is it permissible to take a fee for that?
A 2: It is not permissible for anyone to guarantee a stranger in exchange for paying him a sum of money; because this contradicts the system of the one in authority, and because it is consuming wealth by falsehood. And Allah the Exalted said:
And do not consume one another's wealth unjustlyوَلاَ تَأْكُلُوا أَمْوَالَكُمْ بَيْنَكُمْ بِالْبَاطِلِ
[Al-Baqarah 2:188]
Surat al-Baqarah, verse 188. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
