Helping His Hindu Brother with His Marriage

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 20229 )
Q 4: How should I stand by and support my Hindu brother who is about to get married? I should tell you, O Shaykh, that he has taken many positions in my favor; he stood by me when I was paying off my debt, and once when the Hindus attacked my religion and my commitment, he took a stand against them and defended me. Is it permissible for me to support him financially and stand with him until he completes the ceremonies of his marriage?
A 4: There is no harm in maintaining ties with your disbelieving brother through money or gifts, especially if he has taken good positions in your favor, for you are rewarding him for that. Allah the Exalted said:
Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.
[Al-Mumtahanah 60:8]

And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
