Fatwa number ( 21163 )
Q: There is a Jordanian man to whom patients from many countries, especially from the Gulf, gather, because it has spread among them that he is able to cure, by the permission of Allah, intractable diseases that doctors have failed to treat. In short, he uses jinn to treat these diseases, either by reciting the Qur'an over water, or by performing surgical operations without incising the body, where the patient only feels that something is happening.
Inside his body, and then he is cured by the permission of Allah. It has been established through mass transmission that he is precise in diagnosing and treating diseases. He requires that everyone who comes to him be among those who pray, and that they remember Allah constantly during the treatment and during the operation. He asks them to recite the chapters of protection (al-Mu'awwidhat) and the Verse of the Throne. He does not do what the sorcerers do; he does not ask the patients for their names or their mothers' names, but only asks about what they are complaining of, and then he diagnoses the ailment with great precision. He also takes only a small fee, which is equivalent to fifty Saudi riyals. Given that his case is confusing, and people are asking about the ruling on going to him, I hope you will kindly provide information about the ruling on going to him, and whether it is permissible to seek the help of the jinn for what is in the interest of people? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good, and peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
A : It is not permissible to seek the help of the jinn in any way; because they are a hidden world unknown to us, and Allah the Exalted said:[Al-Jinn 72:6] , and this is a way of disapproving of seeking the help of the jinn in general, and for the sake of blocking the means to shirk (associating partners with Allah) with Allah (Mighty and Majestic). And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.

And there were men from mankind who sought refuge in men from the jinn, so they [only] increased them in burden.
وَأَنَّهُ كَانَ رِجَالٌ مِنَ الإِنْسِ يَعُوذُونَ بِرِجَالٍ مِنَ الْجِنِّ فَزَادُوهُمْ رَهَقًا
