The obligatory Islamic treatment of a daughter toward her mother

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 5042 )
Q 2: What is the obligatory Islamic treatment of a daughter toward her mother who persists in committing many sins? The Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to boycott the sinner until he repented, knowing that this daughter has warned her mother against sins many times, but she does not repent and does not refrain?
A 2: The obligatory duty of a daughter toward her mother is to be kind to her, to be dutiful to her, and to speak to her gently. Allah the Exalted said:
And We have enjoined upon man, to his parents, good treatment.وَوَصَّيْنَا الْإِنْسَانَ بِوَالِدَيْهِ إِحْسَانًا
[Al-Ahqaf 46:15]
And you must continue to advise her and call her to good until Allah guides her; because the parents have a special status that is not like that of others
among people, due to the noble verse. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
