Is zina permissible if the wisdom behind its prohibition is absent?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
I read an article in an Arab newspaper which stated: If the wisdom behind the prohibition of zina is to prevent the confusion of lineage, the spread of enmity and hatred, and so on, then if there are pills to prevent pregnancy, and there is consent from both parties, and there is no problem at all, what prevents zina?! This is an article I read, so what is the response to it? May Allah reward you.

Answer:
The principle regarding what Allah has forbidden is that it must be avoided, and what Allah has made obligatory must be adhered to. As for knowing the wisdom behind it, that is light upon light and good upon good. What Allah has forbidden must be left absolutely, even if the wisdom is not known, and even if one knows that the wisdom one is aware of is absent in that case, one must still adhere to what Allah has forbidden, just as one adheres to what Allah has made obligatory. Allah forbade zina and said:
And do not approach unlawful sexual intercourse. Indeed, it is ever an immorality and is evil as a way.وَلَا تَقْرَبُوا الزِّنَا إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَاحِشَةً وَسَاءَ سَبِيلًا
[Al-Isra: 32] and He did not say: except if one does not bear children, or if such and such is the case, or if such and such is the case. Rather, He forbade it and said:
Indeed, it is ever an immorality and is evil as a way.إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَاحِشَةً وَسَاءَ سَبِيلًا
[Al-Isra: 32].
So Allah has forbidden zina and has decreed for it painful punishment, multiplied punishment, and eternal abode in the Fire, due to the much evil that results from it. The existence of some clubs where their owners think that the known consequences of zina do not result from them has no value.
So the consideration is based on the prohibition of what Allah has forbidden, whether the resulting things occur or not. It is obligatory to adhere to what Allah has forbidden, to stay away from what Allah has forbidden, and to be cautious of it, even if we assume that the rulings mentioned by the scholars do not occur or happen if what Allah has forbidden is done. We ask Allah for safety.
So the obligatory is: to adhere to leaving what Allah has forbidden and doing what Allah has made obligatory absolutely, even if one thinks that one does not bear children, even if one thinks that one has taken pills, even if one thinks that there is no one between whom and him there is enmity. All these are assumptions with no basis. The ruling is not related to them. The ruling is related to the insertion in the prohibition and its means. So one must be cautious of zina and its means absolutely. This is the obligatory by the consensus of the Muslims, by the text of the Qur'an, and by the text of the Sunnah.
