Q: A man killed another man with a firearm unintentionally , and the blood money was paid.
What expiations are obligatory upon him, may Allah have mercy on you?
A: If the matter is as stated, it is obligatory for him to free a slave. If he is unable to do so, he must fast for two consecutive months. This is what the Qur'an indicates. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
