One of her children says: "The women who were holding her during the delivery let go of her, and she fell on her newborn, who died. Does she incur any obligation for this, such as freeing a slave, paying blood money, or fasting? And if she owes fasting, should I fast on her behalf, or should I pay a ransom for the fast?"
A: Your mother owes nothing, because her falling was not by her choice, but rather due to the midwives letting go of her. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
