The sixth question of Fatwa No. ( 9122 )
Q6: What is the ruling on a woman whose husband died in their residence, and she wishes to fulfill the obligation of Allah—in the months and ten days—in another city? Is it permissible for her to move to that city given that there is no one in the city where her husband is (where her husband died) to take responsibility for her?

A6: If the situation is as described, namely that there is no one in the town where her husband died to take responsibility for her and her affairs, and she is unable to manage her own affairs religiously, then it is permissible for her to move to another town where she is safe for herself and finds someone to take charge of her affairs religiously. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
