Her husband divorced her, so she intentionally aborted her pregnancy

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 18962 )
Q1: What is the ruling on a married woman whose marriage did not last long due to many problems, and during that time she felt she was pregnant, but she aborted this fetus of her own free will ? What is the ruling of the religion in this matter? Please advise me, may Allah reward you.
A1: The abortion committed by that woman for the sake of her divorce
from her husband is forbidden by the Shari'ah. It is obligatory for her to repent to Allah, feel remorse for what happened from her, and not return to such a bad action; because this is a crime against a fetus without right. It is also obligatory for her, if the soul has been breathed into it, to pay the blood money (a slave or a female slave) if she is demanded to do so. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
