The questioner : I am not exaggerating when I tell you: whenever I write a letter to my brothers, the students of knowledge in the Hijaz, I issue it after the basmalah by saying: From the land of trials and calamities to the land of the two noble sanctuaries. And sometimes I say: From the land of assassinations and arrests to the land of prophethoods and messengerships. To Allah we complain.

The Shaykh : To Allah we complain and to Him we return. May Allah relieve the believers in every region, in every land.

The questioner: Amen.

The Shaykh : Calamities are surrounding the entire Islamic world, not just in Algeria.

The questioner: Yes!

The Shaykh : By Allah, we seek help from Allah.

The questioner : I have only three questions with me.

The Shaykh: Go ahead.

The questioner : First: A woman who miscarried in Ramadan, and before she delivered the fetus, a large amount of blood came from her for three days, then she miscarried. She asks about that blood which preceded the miscarriage: does it break the fast?

The Shaykh : No, it does not break the fast.
