Abortion of a fetus feared to be deformed

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 17785 )
Q 4: One of the sisters is suffering from cancer—may Allah protect you—and she underwent radiation as treatment. This had a negative effect on the fetus in her womb. The doctors ordered her to abort it and affirmed that if she kept it, it would be born disabled or deformed. Her husband agrees, and she agrees. Does the Shari'ah agree?
A 4: It is not permissible to abort a fetus that is feared to be deformed; rather, it is left to the consideration of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) in it, and it may be saved from deformity.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
