Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of the fatwa number ( 20399 )
Q2: If the husband brings in haram wealth and his wife advises him to leave this wealth, but he does not listen to the advice, may the wife eat from this haram wealth when she has no other wealth except this forbidden wealth, and what is required of the wife: should she stay with him or leave him and ask for divorce, and it is not permissible for her
to live with him, and this wealth is trade in forbidden things?
A2: If she knows that the earnings he brings to the house are haram, it is not permissible for her to eat from them, and she must demand maintenance from him from lawful earnings, or she must refer his case to the responsible authority, such as the Sharia court. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
