A man who breastfed from one of his wives

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 264 )
Q1: IndeedAllah has forbidden a sister through breastfeeding, so is a girl forbidden to the son of the wet nurse who was born before the girland is older than her in age? And if a man has two wives, and another child is breastfed by one of them, are the daughters of both wives forbidden to him? And how many breastfeedings does a child need for the prohibition to be established?
A1: If a person breastfeeds from a woman with a breastfeeding that establishes prohibition, he is considered her son through breastfeeding, and a brother to all her children, male and female, whether they were present at the time of the breastfeeding or were born after it; due to the generality of the statement of Allah the Exalted:
your sisters through nursingوَأَخَوَاتُكُمْ مِنَ الرَّضَاعَةِ
[An-Nisa 4:23]
And if a person breastfeeds from one of a man’s wives with a breastfeeding that establishes prohibition, then all the children of that man are brothers through breastfeeding to this person, whether he breastfed from one of his wives or from all of them; because the milk is attributed to the man. The breastfeeding that establishes prohibition is five breastfeedings or more, and it must occur within the first two years. It should be known that a single breastfeeding is when the child sucks the breast and then releases it to breathe or move.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and his Companions.
