Q: Is it permissible for a man to marry his maternal aunt to his uncle?
A: It is permissible for your uncle to marry your maternal aunt; because he is a stranger to her. And Allah the Exalted, when He mentioned the types of women who are forbidden to marry, said:[An-Nisa 4:24] As for you, you have no authority over her in the marriage contract. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
