Q3: My brother's daughter and I are married to two brothers, and I am his cousin, and we have lived in the same house for a long time, and I sit with my husband's brother wearing a hijab that is not complete, as my face is uncovered, but I am not displaying my adornment. What is the ruling on this action?
A3: It is obligatory for a woman to cover her face from her cousin's daughter's husband, her sister's husband, and her brother's daughter's husband; because they are non-mahram to her, so it is not permissible for her
to uncover her face in their presence, just as it is not permissible in the presence of other non-mahram men; because the face is one of the greatest parts of the 'awrah that must be covered from men; because it is a place of temptation and looking. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
