Q: I am a woman divorced from my husband, and I have a son and a daughter from my former husband. The son has reached the age of maturity; he is studying and is fifteen years old. Is it permissible for me to travel with my son as my mahram? Please clarify, and may Allah reward you.
A: If the matter is as you described, then the son you mentioned is considered a mahram for you, and it is permissible for you to travel with him. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
